The artful experience
I offer a variety of Equine Portrait Sessions and will help you choose the session that best fits your preferences and budget. I take care to create intentional portraits and keepsakes that capture your horse’s personality and the beauty of the partnership you have together. I work with horses as they are most comfortable, creating art that is uniquely them. Sessions usually take about 45-90 minutes depending on the type, but I do not stick to a strict shot list or timeframe and allow the session to unfold naturally. My sessions are collaborative — you know your horse best, so I will let you choose the out of camera poses you would like finished into artwork. I am happy to help you prepare as you are most comfortable and I cannot wait to meet you and your horse. Together we’ll create art that is one-of-a-kind and meaningful to you.

My work has a realistic painterly and a clean, modern, distraction-free art style which compliments a wide variety of interiors.
Horses have been in my life since a young age and I’ve learned to recognize the importance of detail when creating art of horses. I devote special attention to equine posture, ear position, and expression as well as tack and grooming choices to ensure that each art piece feels expressive and authentic to horse lovers while still being inspired by the visual direction of the project.
Completed art pieces are hand-constructed of museum-grade materials for print longevity and can be specially crafted to fit the interior space and aesthetic. Ashley is partnered with framing artisans and professional labs across the globe to bring clients and designers an exceptional level of quality in printed equine artwork.
