Behind the Lens

Hi, I’m Ashley! I am a lifelong equestrian and have been professionally photographing horses for over 10 years. I travel the Southeastern Unites States preserving horses through meaningful artform that is known for its exceptional quality. When not photographing horses, I love to share my knowledge with fellow photographers of all skill levels through online and in-person classes and mentorships. I spend a lot of time at the barn and firmly believe any time spent sitting in the pasture with horses counts as therapy.

I am a beekeeper which subsequently cured my fear cute fuzzy things that can sting me.

I probably have my nose in 3-6 non-fiction books at any given time.

I love to learn new things as often as possible.

I can usually be found obsessing over health, wellness, and self-improvement.

Ashley’s Equine Art has received national award and recognition, sparking collaboration with Professional Designers and equestrian homeowners looking to bring meaningful equestrian-inspired art to any space.
