I’m Ashley! I have been creating equine art for over a decade, and a horse girl for many more. I believe horses are incredible friends, patient teachers, and works of art that deserve to be preserved in special ways.
I like to work collaboratively - you know your horse best, so together we will create pieces of art that are made specially for you and the way you want to preserve your horse. Whether we’re creating traditional equine portraits or stepping outside of the box creatively, I’m here to capture you and your horse authentically. My specialty is transforming horses and their people into artwork and keepsakes that last a lifetime and more.
When I have time in the off-season, I teach equine artistry to fellow Photographers near and far, and both online and in-person. I am self-taught in equine art and have developed my style and skillset over 12+ years of practice. I work with all skill levels from just getting started in photography to seasoned professionals. I enjoy teaching a variety of skills from beginner to advanced and helping photographers create portraits that are wall ready, every time.
When I am not creating Equine Art -
I spend a lot of time outside and believe any time spent sitting in the pasture with horses is a pretty peaceful form of therapy. I also am a tea time kind of girl and believe any time of day is appropriate for a cup of tea.
